It's totally for the novel: To Kill a Mockingbird!
Click on any one of the chapter links (found in the frame on the left). There you'll first find a short synopsis of the chapter. You'll also find phrases and sentences from the book that contain words that you may have had trouble understanding. Click on any of the highlighted words, and you'll be taken to a glossary page where you'll be able to find the word's definition. Be sure to scroll through the entire chapter page -- you'll also find help with allusions (references to various people, things, historical events, geographical locations, etc.) and idioms(expressions).
Is there a map of Maycomb? What is the symbolism of the mockingbird? Where's Harper Lee today? Can you help me prepare for the GCSE exam?
