Gizmodo Australia has got their hands on the training document, which reveals the specifications of Google's new Nexus tablet.
So here're the details from the leaked training document: - 7-inch Nexus-branded tablet called Nexus 7
- The tablet seems to be built by ASUS
- It will be powered by a quad-core Tegra 3 processor
- It will include a GeForce 12-core GPU
- 1GB RAM
- IPS display with a 178-degree viewing angle, running a resolution of 1280 by 800
- 1.2 megapixel front-facing camera
- Storage options: 16GB and 32GB
- Battery life of approximately 9 hours
- It will also feature NFC and support Google Wallet
The 8GB Nexus 7 will be available for $199, while the 16GB will be available for $249. It looks like Nexus 7 will be powered by Android JellyBean, which is expected to be unveiled at Google I/O. And here's what it will look like: The specifications are quite impressive for a low-cost tablet and could definitely give Apple's iPad (probably $399 iPad 2 and not the new iPad with Retina Display) and Amazon's $199 Kindle Fire a run for their money. What do you think?
