UNA Community Connection Night will start again from this Friday! We have invited Dean Alexander who Established RBC Investment Management Inc. in Vancouver in 1989 and Brian Alexander to share their professional experience of Canadian Financial Services and Investment Fundamentals. If you are interested in financial investment, please join our workshop this Friday Night to share your experiences and obtain additional information! Come socialize and make new friends!

Friday Connection Night, organized by the UNA Multicultural Committee

Cost: Free, Light refreshments will be served.
Location: Meeting room 1 of the Old Barn Community Centre (Second Floor), 6308 Thunderbird Blvd.（UBC大学校园，OLD BARN社区中心二楼）

Topic: Understanding Canadian Financial Services and Investment Fundamentals.

1) Introduction to the range of investment providers available to investors.

2) Fundamental of investing and proper portfolio constructions.

3) Putting it into practice – real life examples of portfolios.

Dean Alexander
• 20 years brokerage experience with Pemberton Securities – acquired by RBC Dominion in 1989
• Established RBC Investment Management Inc. in Vancouver in 1989
• 24 years private client portfolio management experience
• Joined Cypress in 2000

Brian Alexander
• Qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Grant Thornton in Vancouver in 2006
• 3 years experience working as a sell-side analyst with Investec Securities in London, U.K.
• Joined Cypress in September 2010
