第一日:温哥华~西雅图~Super Mall~圣海伦斯火山

早上从温哥华出发, 进入美国华盛顿州。西雅图午膳后，继往圣海伦斯火山旅游中心 (自费每位US$3)，团友可一睹20多年前火山喷发的威力。及后抵达免购物税的俄列冈州。住宿于Crown Plaza或同级酒店。

第二日:Woodburn直销场 - Fry´s 计算机广场-波特兰市中心 [免税]

早上前往Woodburn Mall购物，内有80间名牌专门店（包括Nike Factory Outlet, Columbia, Polo, Levi’s, Adidas, Puma, BCBGMAXAZRIA）提供时尚廉价免税商品。随后前往著名计算机广场Fry’s。内有各式各样的电器﹐计算机用品及配件﹐数码相机等﹐必定让团友目不暇给。波特兰市中心街道上不但有特色喷泉，而且名店林立﹐计有 LV, Coach, Tiffany & Co., Swarovski, A&F, Victoria Secrets, Niketown 等。住宿于Crown Plaza或同级酒店。
第三日: 波特兰~露天大教堂~Premium Outlet~免税店~温哥华

早餐后参观占地六十四亩之天主教露天大教堂，此教堂于1924年建成，以一个楼高十层之天然岩洞作为礼堂而成为佳话。途经华盛顿州首府奥林比亚后在西雅图最新的高级直销场Premium Outlet购物。免税店内的化妆品比百货公司更化算，欢迎团友比较及选购。于边境免税店稍停留购物后返回温哥华。

-- 书、啤酒、自行车及花丛的"玫瑰之城" --

      美国西岸大城市波特兰（Portland）就魅力大增，由于这个潮湿城市盛产鲜花，玫瑰更是其特产，鲜花点缀城中各处景点，令这个俄勒冈州最大的城市，显得缤纷漂亮，使人陶醉。美国人向称波特兰为玫瑰之城，一九一五年，欧洲经历第一次世界大战洗礼，玫瑰种植家与爱好者担心素来享负盛名的欧洲玫瑰，会被战火摧残，于是急忙找寻理想地方将品种移植。当时美国玫瑰协会专家Jesse A. Currey，提议运送花苗到波特兰，自此这个城市便肩负起保育极品玫瑰之任，后期更繁殖出新品种。每逢四至六月，正值是玫瑰盛放季节，整个城市即时增添吸引力，引来无数游人到来赏花。

      波特兰，俄勒冈州 (Oregon)最大的城市，曾被评为北美的 "最佳城市"，它位于美国西北海岸，整个城市被五彩缤纷的鲜花点缀着，大街上来来往往的人，似乎都穿着牛仔裤运动鞋。这一点都不奇怪，因为耐克公司的总部就设在这里，市中心的NIKE TOWN 汇集了NIKE 的各类产品。此外，波特兰还是一座洋溢着浓厚雅痞气息的城市，它是美国咖啡厅和书店密度最集中的城市，全世界最大的书店——鲍威尔氏书店就坐落在波特兰，书店占据了整整一个街区。这里的风景自然秀丽，城市整洁，交通便利，而且，千万要记住哦，俄勒冈州是全美唯一一个没有消费税的州，购物狂们可以尽情享受购物的乐趣。

      波特兰最初只是位于俄勒冈市和温哥华堡之间的一个小港。1843年威廉·奥维顿认识到这块地方的经济价值，但他没有资金来买下这块地方。因此他与他的来自波士顿的伙伴以每公顷25分的价格合伙购买了这块共2.6平方公里的土地。

奥维顿对坎树造路的事情大伤脑筋，因此将他的地盘的一半又卖给了一个来自缅因州波特兰的人。在决定这个地方的名字的时候缅因波特兰的人和波士顿的人都想以自己的家乡来命名这个新的城市，于是两人掷币来做决定，结果来自波特兰的人赢了，这座新的城市就被命名为波特兰。

一开始波特兰处于威拉麦狄河上游19公里处的俄勒冈市的影印之中，但是波特兰的地势非常好，位于威拉河口不远，给予它一个关键的优点。比起俄勒冈州其它城市来它的优势也不可低估。1850年波特兰约有800名居民、一个蒸汽锯、一个木结构的旅店和一份报纸。

19世纪大多数时间里波特兰是美国西北太平洋地区最大的港口，直到1890年代铁路延伸到西雅图深水港时它才失去了这个地位。

如同其它美国西海岸港口城市在波特兰也经常发生有人被劫被迫充当海员的事。城市地下的地道本来是为了合法事物建造的，但却被劫掠者用来绑架人。绑架者使用活门来绑架受害者，将他们关在地道里，等船准备出海时将他们送到船上。从1850年到1941年波特兰因此臭名昭著。今天游客可以参观这些地道。

波特兰经常被引做设计良好的城市的典范。波特兰的土地利用政策非常先进，比如1979年波特兰设立了一个城市发展边界来保护农业田地。这个措施在当时是很不寻常的，当时许多其它地区在州际高速公路边上、郊区和卫星城镇里建立新的居民区，而市中心则被忽视。

有些城市规划者和不动产投资者反对城市发展边界，认为这会导致生活费用的提高。但是波特兰的生活费用依然比加利福尼亚和华盛顿州的大多数都市地区低。而且由于波特兰的城市地区非常紧凑，给市民增添了许多优点，比如与其它类似大的城市相比公共交通的效率高，总的来说交通比较少。1958年通过市民投票建立的波特兰发展委员会监督城市更新，为城市提供居住和经济发展计划。

城市居民比较密集的地区有点不对称，原因是西边受到山丘的阻挡，而东部的平原则伸展出很长，一直到格雷欣。再向东是默尔特诺马郡的农田了。

波特兰市中心和一些其它内部市区建筑密集，街道狭窄。平行的街道之间的距离为60米（相比之下西雅图为70至100米，曼哈顿的东西走向的街道之间的距离为180至240米）。大多数街道为20米宽。对于步行人来说这个格局更加好。

波特兰的哥伦比亚峡谷全长169 英哩 (合272 公里)。它是美国西部的最大河流的灵魂，迎着晨曦，环绕着哥伦比亚河峡谷，古老公路两旁大大小小的瀑布溪流，其中全美第二高瀑布MULTNOMAH FALL高六百二十英呎，以高取胜，幽远细致。驱车穿越无数个隧道后，登高至CROWN POINT，远眺绵延不尽的峡谷悬崖，那磅礴的气势真叫人有小天下之感受。

Major districts in Portland include Chinatown, Old Town and the trendy Lloyd District, containing America's first major shopping mall.

Portland has many major tourist attractions, including Oregon Zoo - an award-winning zoo full of animal attractions, which has become the largest in Oregon; the Tom McCall Waterfront Park - one of the most popular recreational areas in Portland, on the banks of Willamette River; the Oregon Historical Society (OHS) - offering a host of historic and cultural information about Portland and Oregon; the World Forestry Discovery Center - recently revamped at a cost of seven million dollars, with many exciting rides and exhibits; and Washington Park - one of the largest and most impressive parks in Portland, containing the famous Japanese Garden, Hoyt Arboretum and rose gardens.

美国百老汇桥梁（Broadway Bridge）在Willamette 河在波特兰，俄勒冈。	波特兰的霍桑大桥 (Hawthorne Bridge) 霍桑大桥历史悠久，铁桥并且可以升降，也被誉为波特兰的标志性建筑。	波特兰圣约翰斯大桥是横跨 Willamette 河的钢吊桥，位于 Linnton 附近，在俄勒冈波特兰圣约翰斯小区和西北工业区之间。	波特兰 Portland 是夜景优美的城市，市区 down town 26街很有特色，有免费的古董观光电车可绕行於观光点 convention center，过铁桥到 Poineer square 附近。付费电车可到 Saturday Market，有好吃好逛。
沿着亲水公园(Gov. Sometimes they're cheaper, sometimes not, but they know what they're doing and they have good recommendations.

Next exit south from the Costco. Their URL used to be outpost.com Now they have frys.com. There are complete items like cameras and computers, or isles of components like hard drives, keyboards and mother boards. but electronics and components in general. There is a lot of garbage on the market, especially if you don't know what you're doing. I love Fry's, and it's usually one of our first stops when we have family visiting from out of state. One of my relatives has a "vacation budget" and a "Fry's budget."

There might also be a few gems available for dirt cheap prices through Free Geek, especially if you know what you're looking for. that's pretty true about Free Geek, it can be spendy and they may not have what you want the first time you check but if you keep checking back or aren't picky you'd probably find something.
